Comedy Central

Lately things have been so busy, but my girls have not ceased to keep the silliness coming!  Here is a list of just a few of the funny things they have been up to and saying lately;

  • I had to take something out of the oven and Hadley made a beeline for the bathroom and put a book in the toilet.
  • Cameryn wants a kitten so bad, she said she was going to get a cat from kitty Ethiopia.
  • Hadley laid on her belly in the kitchen and used her hands to scoot herself backward and thought it was the greatest thing ever.
  • Cameryn has been telling Josh she is going to "shut things down".  For example, "Daddy, I'm going to shut your work down!" or "Daddy I'm going to shut your Diet Coke down!"  It doesn't make a ton of sense, but she heard it on Sesame Street and thinks it's hilarious.
  • I look in the backseat and frequently see Hadley with no hair bow, socks, or shoes and she is sucking on her toes.
  • Cameryn goes to dance class every week and without fail she will start randomly dancing and shaking her butt to whatever tune she is hearing in her head, because "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" is really not a butt shaking kinda song.
  • Hadley pushes our big kitchen table chairs all around the kitchen like Mighty Mouse.
  • Cameryn is really starting to like to sing along with the radio in the car and LOVES to do it in a silly voice to get a laugh out of me.
  • Hadley is starting to really walk a lot now, but it does wear a girl out.  At these moments she just lays down face first on the carpet for 20 seconds and grins.  Then she is right back up and energized
I could go on and on.  These girls bring me so much joy and I am so blessed to be their momma!  I love their silliness and I'm so thankful that I get to spend my days watching that develop and be silly right along with them.

    All Secret Agent-Like

I must admit I was really excited to get our fingerprinting done for our background checks!  It really wasn't as secret agent-like as I had hoped, it was really more like being arrested without all the tough talk and crying I would do if I were to get arrested.  This set of fingerprints is not for immigration so it's not "the fingerprinting" that we will get at the court house, so we got to do it from the comforts of our local UPS store.  The staff was so kind and helpful because we were very obviously new at this.  Josh was a pro!  It makes me a little suspicious that this was not his first time, but I'll let the FBI be the judge of that.  I on the other hand was a complete dork.  I was shaking so badly!  I guess I was just nervous that I would mess them up and smudge them and then 8 weeks from now we would get a letter saying we need to resubmit them and wait another 2 months!  My handy UPS man assured me they were fine and most importantly my sweet husband spoke some truth.  "God's timing is not your timing.  If they are good or bad or whatever, it's what he wants."  I'm sure this will not be the last time he has to say this to me, but I'm thankful I can count on him.  Next stop, home study visit to our home next week, YIKES!

    Snow Day!

It's a little weird to post this today since the snow is melted and it was bike riding weather, but here it is.  Yesterday we had our first really good snow day of the year....in March.

Knocking snow off of the playset was a priority : )

Don't hate the snow man!  Well, snow-thing.  It was our friend.
Until Cameryn decided to jump on him : )
Snow Angels!!  This pic is my favorite
Lily, making sure everything is okay in the snow angel deparment
More knocking snow off of things.  Look at that happy face!

     The pretty winter view
    Hot Chocolate to warm up!
